Looking after your guests
As a host, you help make the evening enjoyable and safe. Have plenty of water available, offer alcohol-free options and provide spittoons. Pour small tasting samples and make it easy for anyone to skip a wine or stop tasting.
Everyone is responsible for their own alcohol consumption. As the organiser, you can help by planning the journey home with your guests.
Don’t drink and drive.
Walk, take public transport or arrange a taxi or designated driver. After the last sip, the only decision left is which wine was your favourite.
Cycling instead? Keep the cyclist sober. If you’re tasting alcohol, leave the bike behind too.
